Plans and monthly active users
How Gatekeep counts monthly active users, what each plan includes, and what happens when you go over.
What counts as a monthly active user
A monthly active user (MAU) is a person who signs in to any of your apps at least once in a calendar month (UTC).
- Signing in many times in a month counts once.
- Single sign-on into a second app counts once, too. It’s the same person.
- Users who don’t sign in that month don’t count, however many you have stored.

| Plan | Price | Includes |

Going over
If a month lands between two tiers, that month bills at the next tier up. We’ll email you before it happens, and nobody is ever locked out because you grew.
Early access
Early-access accounts are free until general availability. We’ll give you at least 30 days’ notice before billing starts.
